1. About this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how ScriptLayer, operated by Endless Creations, collects, uses, shares, stores and protects personal information when you visit our websites, create an account or use ScriptLayer services.
2. Information we collect
We may collect account and identity details, professional profile information, contact details, scripts and production materials you upload, casting and credit records, support conversations, transaction references, device and usage information, and information you choose to provide.
Payment card details are handled by the selected payment provider. ScriptLayer should receive transaction references and payment status rather than your complete card number or PIN.
3. How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts; provide screenwriting, breakdown, casting, SL Credits, billing, Protected Payment and support features; process and verify requests; communicate with users; prevent fraud and abuse; maintain audit records; improve the service; and meet legal obligations.
4. AI processing
When you use an AI feature, the text or file content needed for that request may be sent to the AI provider currently selected by ScriptLayer. Do not upload information you are not authorised to share. AI output may be incomplete or inaccurate and should be reviewed before professional use.
5. When we share information
We may share limited information with service providers that help us operate hosting, AI, email, analytics, security and payment functions; with production or casting participants when you direct us to; with professional advisers; or with authorities when required by law. We do not sell personal information.
6. Public information
Information you publish to a public actor, professional, casting or SL Credits page may be visible to anyone. Review a page before publishing it and contact support if a correction is needed.
7. Cookies and device information
We may use cookies and similar technologies for sign-in, security, preferences, analytics and service performance. Browser controls can limit some cookies, but essential account functions may stop working.
8. Retention and security
